- Limiting the number of students in a class to 50 allows the assessors to focus completely on each and every student.
- Conducting activities in groups of 10 as done in the actual SSB enables better comprehension and facilitates individual feedback for the students.
- GTO training is done in small groups of 10 students, which enables better understanding of the tests by the students and enables the assessors to give complete and individual feedback.

- The proximity of the ground enables students to spend as much time as they want to practise and internalise the concepts and principles.
- The GTO ground in AFPA is designed to teach concepts rather than solutions.

- The fees for the SSB Training Program at AFPA is Rs. 25,000, of which Rs. 7,000 will have to be paid at the time of registration and the balance on arrival at the academy. The fees also include pick-up and drop-off facilities from the railway station, lodging and boarding, study material, and the entire training.
- Registration fees is refunded only if cancellation is requested 14 days prior to the commencement of the course on our official email address. A cancellation charge of Rs. 2,000 will be charged even if cancellation is done 14 days in advance.
- No refund of registration fees will be made if the cancellation is not made 14 days prior to the commencement of the course.
- Please note that we cannot shift batches manually. Students wanting to change batches will have to cancel the existing ones and re-register.

THE TRAINING METHODOLOGY
- Aspirants who look for training academies are the ones who prefer to learn by doing, so it is important to make them do various activities and tests for better assimilation.
- In order to ensure this, AFPA maintains a teacher-to-student ratio of 1:10, which helps in conducting the tests and activities multiple times and giving individual attention and feedback.
- All GTO tasks are conducted in small groups of 10 students only to enable personalised attention to each one of them.
THE HOSTEL
The hostel buildings are in the campus. Each non-AC room will be shared by 4-6 candidates, depending on the room’s size. The hostels have a main gate to ensure the security of students. The hostels have firefighting equipment for emergencies and are also under CCTV surveillance. The hostel for girls is separate from that for boys. - As the academy is about 50 km away from the railway station, students will be picked up in a bus and taken to the academy, and similarly, they will be dropped back at the railway station upon completion of the course.
- The pick-up times will be 1:00 pm, 4:00 pm, and 8:00 pm.
- All students coming later than 8:00 p.m. will have to arrange for their own transportation. The drop-off times are 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Students desirous of leaving earlier or later than these timings will have to arrange for their own transportation.
- The classrooms are ergonomically designed and well equipped with modern training aids and an uninterrupted power supply.
- In addition, there are three discussion rooms for the conduct of group discussions and four interview rooms for the conduct of personal interviews.
- The academic block has firefighting equipment for emergencies and is also under CCTV surveillance.
- The campus is equipped with a 100 MBPS broadband connection with WiFi connectivity in all the hostel blocks and the academic block. The mobile connectivity of JIO and VODAFONE is available on campus. The other networks are very weak or non-operational.
- AFPA is an enclosed campus with round-the-clock security and CCTV surveillance.
- A physical roll call of all the students is conducted twice a day to ensure their safety.
- No student is allowed to leave campus during their stay unless there is an emergency.
- The 14 days of training in AFPA are divided into two halves. In the first week, they are trained, which includes some theoretical classes and practical sessions. In the second week, they are put through the assessment process as done in the SSB and are given comprehensive feedback.
- AFPA has various sports facilities, such as football, volleyball, and basketball, and students are encouraged to play on a daily basis. Also, during their stay, students are encouraged to conduct a tournament towards the end of the course, and the winning participants are given certificates. This enables them to learn organising ability, teamwork, cooperation, etc. in a natural manner.
- In addition, they are also taken on a trek along a beautiful lake to develop a spirit of adventure and a love for nature.
- The AFPA campus has a temple of Lord Ganesha and Lord Hanuman. This provides a spiritual ambience on campus.
- The academy has a laundry facility for nominal payment.

Also, during their stay, students are encouraged to conduct a tournament towards the end of the course to inculcate brotherhood and team spirit. This enables them to learn organising ability, teamwork, cooperation, etc. in a natural manner.

- On registration for the course, an email is sent to all the candidates with a list of suggested topics that they should start preparing. All students are advised to start preparing knowledge content and develop communication skills, which are essential requirements for doing well in the SSB.
