Coal India Limited has signed MoU with CRIS for Automated Access
Kolkata based Public Sector Undertaking (PSU), which works for coal mining, the Coal India Limited SIGNED Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for one year with CRIS (Centre for Railways Information Systems). The MoU is aimed at providing fast and customized automated access to coal freight data. The MoU will allow CIL to support and rationalize the coal supply Matriz through freight mode. For this, a portal has been developed by the CIL, which will help Freight Operation Information System (FOIS).

India’s First Fisheries Hub to be established in Goa
The Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying Giriraj Singh has informed that the Central Government is planning to establish the first fisheries hub in Goa by investing Rs. 400 Croes.
The investment is expected to be done under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana. According to the ministry, Goa is chosen because it possesses the required coastline, inland waterway, and saline Khazan lands for fish production in the nation.

Odisha to host 17th India International Mega Trade Fair 2021
From 19th Feb 2021 to 1st March 2021, the 17th Edition of India International Mega Trade Fair 2021 to be hosted in the capital city of Odisha, Bhubaneshwar. The fair was organized by the Odisha Chapter of the Real Estate Developers Association of India. A total of nine countries have participated in the fair named Bangladesh, Dubai, Iran, Thailand, Afghanistan, Malaysia, Lebanon, and Tunisia. The fair was organized considering the following objectives:
– To showcase the latest development in the field of real estate.
– To represent home décor projects of international standard in the fair.
– To provide a platform for International collaborations and joint ventures.
Bangladesh is the partner country of the fair. Afghanistan and Iran are the focus countries.
Bihar is the partner state. The Minister of Law Odisha launched it.

The MoU has been signed between TERI & POSOCO
To promote research in the domestic power sector, the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), New Delhi, and the Power System Operation Corporation (POSOCO).
- To bring industries and research bodies closer for knowledge sharing and capacity building.
- To conduct research to resolve the power sector problem in India.
- To design and make power system simulation models.
