What is Mission NDA?
AFPA specializes in mentoring Defense Aspirants into the coveted uniform!!
Mission NDA aims at optimizing a Class X Passed Aspirant’s potential to join NDA through a structured and integrated curriculum running concurrently to enable admission into the NDA immediately on completion of Class XII.
The concept envisages concurrent focus on the NDA ENTRANCE EXAM syllabus.
HOW IT WORKS?
The entire Mission NDA Program is conducted ina structured and graduated manner similar to the program at the NDA.
AFPA addresses the weak link of no preparation on the remainder subjects of the NDA entrance exams (General Abilities paper to include History, Geography, Polity, Economics, Current and Defence Affairs), during X and XII, and losing one opportunity of availing the earliest chance and results in an overall delay by more than a year in his preparation in joining the academy.
AFPA concurrently prepares candidates on all the subjects without compromising the core CBSE syllabus enabling the candidates to appear for the entrance exams while studying in class XII itself giving him the benefit of one additional chance and getting commissioned into the forces at a much younger age.
The Mission NDA Cadet gets a head start in not only the entrance exam preparation but also the SSB Interview process. This is achieved by initiating all the requirements for the exam and the interview right from the very beginning concurrently along with the CBSE Syllabus
The physical fitness, mental ability and Reasoning ability isfine-tuned over a period of two years to enable a candidate to respond pontaneously in the NDA ENTRANCE EXAM and the SSB INTERVIEW giving him the required competitive edge to emerge winner in an intense competitive field. In so doing, the cadet is gradually transformed from a civilian, laid back persona to a motivated, confident, ambitious and well-prepared defence service aspirant.
THE FACULTY
The quality of training is dependent on the standard of the FACULTY. AFPA fortunately is home to a very seasoned, experienced and dedicated set of staff who are totally committed to the AFPA MISSION of mentoring the students to achieve their ambition.

Col. Rahul Gowardhan, an experienced interviewing officer and a former Deputy President of Selection Centre Allahabad, feels that several good candidates with immense potential exhibit sub-par performances due to inappropriate responses which fails to bring to fore the officer like qualities. Innocuous and innocent actions by candidates reveals insecurity, low self- esteem and lack of confidence, besides the in-ability to deal with routine situations, logically and methodically. Subtle nudging and gentle prodding with the correct DO’s & DONTs transforms an aspirant into a winner.
Col. Rahul Gowardhan(Retd)Interviewing Officer

Col. Hasabnis has had a very prolonged tenure as an assessor and trainer of assessors. A seasoned GTO, he has evolved unique teaching methods which adroitly brings out the required qualities and traits in each candidate to develop the aptitude for ground related tasks and team building capability.

Cdr. Chakrapani is a veteran Submariner and a qualified assessor who has successfully transformed a large number of candidates to finish far ahead of their compatriots. His patient and methodical analysis helps each candidate to comprehend his shortcomings and work effectively to overcome them.

Col. Murali is an experienced assessor from Selection Centre East and feels that a candidate who undergoes the interview practice is sufficiently forewarned of the questioning pattern and the expected lines of responses. Aspirants are mostly motivated and enthusiastic and are tremendously surprised by their shortcomings and work towards improving them.
Col. MuraliInterviewing Officer

Col Ravi Nair is a veteran combatant who enlightens candidates on the service and work profile to help candidates get an insight into the ethos and philosophy of the Defense Forces. His sessions on Communication skills and leadership/team building has a profound impact on the candidates and find themselves galvanized into giving outstanding performances at the SSB interview.
