An advanced version of nuclear-capable Shaurya Ballistic missile successfully tested
On 3rd October, India successfully test-fired the advanced version of nuclear-capable Shaurya ballistic missile in Odisha. It is light, easy to operate, can target the range of around 800 kilometres, and moves at hypersonic speed while close to the target.
On 29 and 30 August, DRDO also tested laser-guided anti-tank missile and BrahMos respectively.
Rafale fighter jet to take part in the Air Force Day Parade
The Rafale fighter jets are going to be featured on the Air Force Day parade on October 8 for its first public appearance on the Indian land. The Rafale jets are considered the “Golden Arrows” as part of the IAF’s number 17 Squadron.
IAS is operating its fighter jets in the Ladakh theatre. India ordered 36 Rafale jets from France worth Rs 59000 crore in September 2016, and 5 are fully operational now.
Boeing offering F/A-18 block 3 super Hornet fighter jet to the Indian navy
The front line fighter of the US Navy, F/A-18 Block III super hornet is being offered to the Indian Navy by Boeing. It is under the manufacturing for the US. It can perform every mission and offer superior economics with high readiness.

Ladakh: A memorial for 20 martyrs of Galwan valley clash
After 4 months of the Galwan valley clash, a memorial has been set up by Indian Army near the international border for our 20 Martyrs who sacrificed their lives against the Chinese people’s Liberation Army. The incident was the most violent clash between Chinese troops and Indians.
IN-BN Bangladesh Bilateral exercise Bongosagar
The second edition of the Indian Navy and Bangladesh Navy bilateral exercise Bongosagar was commenced on 3rd October 2020. IN-BN Corpat and Exercise BongoSagar will be undertaken over three days. It is conducted during Mujib Barsho, the 100th birth anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The exercise includes operational skills of maritime exercise and operations. It is decided that ships from both Navy will be included in the upcoming edition of Bongosagar in different operations like surface, warfare drills, helicopter operations, and seamanship evolutions. It started in Northern bay of Bengal.
