Stronger submarine capabilities

The multirole aircraft from the US is going to enhance India’s side aerial balance and sub-surface surveillance. It will get stronger when the second batch of Boeing p81 Maritime surveillance aircraft of the Indian Navy will land. It has an operating range of above 1200 maximum miles and a maximum speed of 789 kmph. It flies at 40000 feet. Though it has extended range features, it was deployed during the standoff with China in Ladakh. Indian Navy also put it into the use of humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations.

 

 

Rejection for India’s demand for the appointment of Indian lawyer to represent kulbhushan Jadhav

On Friday, Pakistan rejected India’s demand for appointing Indian lawyer to represent death row prisoner kulbhushan Jadhav, stating it as unrealistic. Jadhav, 50 years old retired Indian Navy officer, was sentenced to death due to charges of terrorism and espionage by a Pakistani military court. Pakistan ensured that only the lawyers having a licence to practice law in Pakistan are allowed to appear in Pakistani courts.

 But Anurag Srivastava, Ministry of external Affairs, state that the Pakistan government has not fulfilled its obligations for the implementation of ICJ judgement.


 


 

Former R&AW chief Anil Dhasmana- The new chief of NTRO

The position of the new chief of national technical research organisation is now in the hands of former Research and Analysis Wing Chief- Anil Dhasmana. He has vast experience in Afghanistan and Pakistan,  handled Europe desks, and South Asian Association for regional cooperation. He was appointed on Friday by appointment committee of the cabinet as the head of NTRO for next two years in the place of former Intelligence Bureau Officer Satish Jha.

 

Air raid drill by Lhasa city

The Government of Lhasa city will conduct an air raid drill to mark the National defence education day. WMF and Paramount vehicles under the trial in India

Namibia’s windhoeker Maschinenfabrik( WMF) and South Africa’s paramount are undergoing the vehicle trials in India near Ladakh. There is a demand of 8* 8 solution with high mobility, armament configuration, and armour protection. It should be capable enough to destroy enemy tanks and serve the purpose of local protection. The vehicles are under the evaluation to meet the requirements of the Indian Army. The Mbombe4 has been badged as the Kalyani M4.
