  • The caseload of Uttar Pradesh increases when the State plans to inaugurate the Ram Mandir.

The total number of cases in Uttar Pradesh went above the one Lakh mark with 2,948 new cases in the last 24 hours. The State is going to inaugurate the Ram Mandir, where the Babri Masjid originally stood on August 5 amidst the pandemic. Health care getting exhausted with the number of increasing cases, the number of death toll rose to 1817 number of deaths.


  • Patients surviving on a ventilator reach 0.27% all across the country.

According to the data provided by the Health Ministry, it is seen that around 0.27% of the patients battling with Coronavirus is surviving in ventilator all across the world. The Health Ministry secretary said that when the other countries are experiencing the second wave of the virus attack, we in India are still in a controllable situation due to the restrictions imposed on the daily work activities by the center.


  • Out of 11 companies, ICMR validates 3 for rapid antigen tests.

The Director-General of ICMR stated that they were approached by a total of 11 companies to let them initiate rapid antigen testing in India, but they only gave permission to 3 companies for the purpose. Also, they mentioned that from the PM cares fund; money is taken to get a total of 50,000 ventilators worth 2000 crores.





  • Phase two and three trials of the Oxford University vaccine starts in the country within a week.

After the long wait, the ICMR gave permission to the Serum Institute of India to conduct phase two and three trials of the Oxford University vaccine. A total of 17 sites have been chosen where the trials will start in the country. If this vaccine shows positive results in every phase, then mass production and logical distribution amongst people will be started soon. All we can do now is to sit tight and hope for the best while maintaining the protocols to not let the virus spread more.


  • FluGaurd by Sun Pharma will be sold for INR 35 per tablet.

For the treatment of mild to moderate symptoms of COVID 19, Sun pharma got FluGuard, which will be sold for INR 35 per tablet. FluGuard is basically Favipiravir 200mg, which anyone can consume with doctor’s supervision in order to cure the mild and moderate symptoms of COVID 19.


  • The patient escaped from the COVID center in Himachal to reach Jammu.

A patient admitted to a COVID center in Himachal Pradesh escaped on Sunday night from Shimla. The police authorities reported that he reached Jammu the next morning on Monday, the patient was a resident of Kashmir and was admitted in the center on July 14.





  • Uma Bharati refused to attend Ram temple inauguration in Ayodhya.

After home minister Amit Shah tested positive of Coronavirus, former union minister and senior BJP leader Uma Bharati wrote to PM Modi that she is not willing to attend the ceremony due to the chances of getting infected.

Keeping in mind the current scenario and also after so many BJP leaders tested positive of Coronavirus Uma Bharati asked PM Modi to cancel her name from the invitation list for the ceremony in Ayodhya.


  • Siddharth Pithani called by Bihar police for Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case.

After recording multiple statements from multiple people, Sushant’s friend Siddharth Pithani was called by the Bihar Police to take his statement. Sushant Singh Rajput’s father filed a case against his son’s girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty, for abetting his son’s suicide. Rhea Chakraborty, along with many individuals, forms the film industry, was also called by the Bihar police to give a statement for the case.


  • Woman with three children swept away by Mumbai rains.

The climatic situations are going out of hand in Mumbai as rain and flood situations take place. On August 4, a woman, along with her three children, was swept away by the waters as they fell in a flooded nullah in the Santacruz area. This incident took place around 11:30, the firefighters went to save them, but they were incapable of doing so.


  • Former CM of Karnataka tested positive of Coronavirus.

After the current CM of Karnataka tested positive, the former CM of the State also tested positive for Coronavirus. CM Siddaramaiah is hospitalized after he tested positive. Currently, he is doing fine with all the top-notch health care facilities and treatment given by the doctors.
