Haryana witnesses the completion of Rs. 693 Crore worthy AMRUT Projects

AMRUT Projects with the vision to deliver very basic facilities to the disadvantaged section of the society was launched on 25th June, 2015 across 500 cities with SAAP of Rs. 2566 Crore for Haryana, out of which, 63 projects worth Rs. 693 crores have been successfully completed. While Chandigarh has received contracts of SAAP worth Rs. 57 Crores and Punjab Rs. 2767 Crore.


Inauguration of a Conclave to discuss the NEP 2020

The new NEP 2020 has witnessed new things, one of which is the 2-day conclave organised by the Ministry of Education along with the Shiksha Parv 2020. The agenda for this conclave is “School Education in the 21st Century”. The Conclave has been addressed by the Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi along with the presence of Shri Ramesh Pokhariyal, Union Education Minister and Shri Sanjay Dhotre, Minister of State for Education. As part of the NEP-2020, “Saksham Haryana” and “Mission Prerna” initiatives by the Govt. of Haryana and Govt. of Uttar Pradesh have been informed to everyone.


The Launch of SAROD-Ports

The table-turner ‘SAROD-Ports’ have been launched by Shri Mansukh Mandaviya, the Union Minister of State for Shipping. It is expected to be a strong platform for the rise of hope, trust and justice in the country’s port sector. The establishment of SAROD-Ports have been done with the vision for cost effective and prompt dispute settlement in a very fair method and prosperity of the Dispute Resolution Process through Arbitration.



English translation of Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana

The Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana has been launched today in 21 states of the country and as a part of this, projects have been allocated for the research and studies of fisheries, animal husbandry, dairy, along with agriculture. This has been done in order to give a strong support for the development of the state of Bihar. This scheme would include improved facilities, advanced machinery and chances to get into new market for those interested in fisheries. There would be even more possibilities for income by cultivation and several other sources.


The Biggest Launch of Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana for fisheries

The Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi has launched the biggest ever scheme for fisheries “Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana” worth Rs. 20,000 crores, out of which Rs. 17,000 crores worth projects have been allocated today in 21 states of India. PM Matsya Sampada Yojana along with e-Gopala App would ensure proper research and studies in the domain of fisheries. The end objective of this scheme is to increase the fish exports doubly in the next 3-4 years.


The Inclusion of Ayush-based solutions in Poshan Maah Celebrations

The month of September, 2020 will witness the Poshan Maah celebrations that brings its roots from ancient healthcare knowledge. This Abhiyan was launched by the Hon’ble PM on 8th March 2018 while keeping its primary attention on reduction of under-nutrition, level of stunting, low birth weight and anaemia. The inclusion of Ayush-based solutions in this Abhiyan has been mentioned in the Joint Communication to Chief Secretaries of all States and UTs.



Flagship Postal Scheme named ‘Five Star Villages’ launched

The Department of Posts have launched their flagship scheme named ‘Five Star Villages’ with the objectives to cover differences in common disclosure and scope of postal goods and services, particularly in remote areas. As part of this scheme, people will have access to all the available postal services.

The system is to be introduced by the Gramin Dak Sevak team. The unit will be led by the Branch Post Master. The five-member team is to execute a door-to-door advertising campaign on all of the initiatives. They will organise small melas and approach popular locations in selected areas, such as schools, panchayat offices, rural pharmacies, markets.


Consortium for consulting services on corporatisation of OFB decided

On 06th July 2020, the EOI cum RPF was issued by the Department of Defence Production for bringing a consultancy to deliver a very strategic and implementation management consulting services to support in the procedure of corporatisation of OFB. There were multiple bidders and after a lot of scrutiny, the Department has chosen its Lead Consortium Member, M/s KPMG Advisory Services Pvt. Ltd. along with M/s Khaitan & Co. Ltd. as Consortium Member, as the Consultancy Agency.


The Successful Induction of Rafale Aircraft

Air Force Station, Ambala witnessed the induction of the most celebrated jet in the country, the Rafale Fighter Aircraft into the IAF today. The occasion was graced by Shri Rajnath Singh, the Union Defence Minister along with Ms Florence Parly, Minister of the Armed Forces of France. In the induction ceremony, Shri Rajnath Singh mentioned the importance of National security as the utmost priority of the Hon’ble PM. He also emphasised on the India-France close co-operation despite all the hindrances. The first set of 5 Rafale aircrafts that were brought to the Air Force Station, Ambala on 27th July 2020, is going to be a part of the 17 Squadron, the “Golden Arrows”.

Agreement between the Forces of India and Japan

The Armed Forces of India and The Self-Defense Forces of Japan entered into an agreement for the Reciprocal Provision of Supplies and services. The importance of this agreement is that it provides for a very close co-operation between India and Japan while they are working in bilateral training activities, UN Peacekeeping Operations, Humanitarian International Relief among other mutually agreed activities.


Britain in an emergency talk with the EU

U.S. Democrat Nancy Pelosi gave a reminder to Britain threatening him to complete his obligations to Northern Ireland which led to emergency talks between Britain and the EU on Thursday. Consequently, strict warnings of legal action have been warned by the EU.
